About Bob

Bob Choat has been coaching for many years and that includes using hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) as part of his tool bag in helping others. This blog is just an extension of wanting to help others as well as ranting about what he is passionate about. Physical fitness plays a big role in the way he coaches.

His background includes running a small business direct response advertising and marketing firm, import/export, and security specialist. Previous to that he served in the United States Marines and as a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.

He loves to learn, hence his continued schooling in psychology, business, and leadership as well as fitness. He also loves the martial arts with blackbelts in American Kenpo and Jujitsu, 5th Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo, Senior Instructor in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali, OFT, Pencak Silat, Kali-Silat, Master Instructor (Level 4) in CQC, Kyusho Jitsu Instructor-Level I, 1st degree black belt in Tushka-homa, 1st degree black belt in Apprentice Warrior, Sho-Dan in Jissen Karate Do, Sho-Dan in Goju Ryu Karate, Master Instructor under the Al Case Martial Arts Academy, student in Krav Maga, Keysi Fighting Method (KFM), Combat Hapkido, Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Budoshin Jujitsu. There are many other arts he has studied during his lifetime.

He is certified as a hypnotherapist, NLP Trainer, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, NLP Coach, and EEG Neurofeedback Practitioner. He has a masters in psychology as well as degrees in business and leadership.

Sports also plays a big role in his life and is one of the areas in which he uses peak performance coaching to help athletes. Now sports is not the only area he coaches and not his primary, business executives who need to perform at a higher level can benefit greatly as well as entrepreneurs and small business owners. Any person who needs peak performance will benefit.
